Ok, I just replaced my video card today because my old one had died. I got the new one in, booted up the computer, and began installing the driver software. Everything was installed and from what I could tell the computer was running fine. I restarted and everything was still working. NExt I know my computer isn't recognizing my cable connection. I checked the modem, hub, and all connections, everything was ok. I tried to repair the connection and that still didn't work. (There was no light blinking at the end of the Cat5, plugged into the computer). I decided to restart again and try and give it another go. This time the computer froze while shutting down. I had to turn it off by the switch on the back of the machine. Now the computer wont start. At first the red led lit up on the front of the case. Now it does nothing. No fans spin, not any sound from anything. Nothing works. I have tried other outlets in my house, checked all of the connections. Removed and reinstalled the video card and the ram. Still nothing. I'm about to go nuts here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try flicking the red switch. I believe that (at least on my computer) it is a different power setting. Try it.

It's an Allied 300W power supply. There are no power requirements on the outside of the video card box so I have no idea if it is too much. I put the old one back in and still nothing. Wouldn't it atleast attempt to boot up even if the power supply was too minimal for the card?

Hey there ,I'm kinda concerned that there is no noise from the system
did you make sure you were grounded (touch the inside of the case)
before you installed the card ? Try buying another power supply and see if it helps

I know this seems very elementary, but what about the outlet. Is it on a switch? It sounds like the system is not getting any power..
