computer won't power up

McAfee download was completed and it required a restart. however, the computer never restarted. now when we push the power button the light blinks orange, but the fan or the computer don't come on. if I hold the power button the light stops blinking as if the computer was shutdown. I have unplugged the computer and have left it off for 15 minutes and then tried to restart and it won't do anything. what are my choices
 
Any beeps?

First, remove all cept one stick of RAM. See what happens when you boot up. If the same problem continues, take out the CPU. If there are still no beeps, your motherboard probably died on you.

Where did you download it from?
 
So are you saying you download Mcafee or it download an update for Mcafee? Only updates automatically download. If it was the program Mcafee then I'm assuming you are infected and it really wasn't Mcafee that was downloaded.
