My computer for some reason will not recognize blank DVD+R's. I can rip and every other action perfectly, I am also sure I can burn when the time comes but the only obstacle is that my computer DOES NOT recongize the DVD+R's I bought.
I've search around and found that it may be firmware, I may have bad discs and a number of other problems, so I am not sure what information you need to assist me. I am running a Windows XP machine and the drive that is giving me such troubles is a "sony dvd-rom ddu1613" the discs I'm using are "Fujifilm DVD+R"
It can read DVDs just fine, I often watch movies on my computer, but it simply tells me to insert a disc when I try to make it read a blank DVD+R.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
