Computer won't sleep properly.

As soon as the computer goes to sleep, it wakes up by itself. I don't think this is a OS issue because it wakes on both Ubuntu 64 bit and windows 7 32 bit.

on windows, i ran powercfg -devicequery wake_armed from CMD and it came back with nothing.

I disabled "allow this to wake my computer" on all the hardware.

I also played around with S1 and S3 in bios. It doesn't help.

mobo is Asus M4A785-M

Maybe an BIOS update?
Or a BIOS reset?
Or check in your BIOS Wake up on LAN or (WOL) settings and make sure is disabled.
Hope that helps

One of my computers does the same thing. I've never really put a lot of time into troubleshooting it, but I think it started when we started using wireless keyboard and mouse.

I will be watching this thread and I will update if I find the cause on our computer.

I checked WOL and updated bios. Still not working. Any other ideas?

Have you reseted your BIOS since this last update?
Ive seen crazy stuff with BIOS than only turned the USBs ON again was doing a reset...
If you allready did that try to search anyting else in your BIOS that can wake up your computer.
If is doing the same in 2 diferent OSs it got to be from there..
Hope that helps with your problem
