Computer Won't Start........

my girlfriends Dell E1505 laptop wont start for some reason. it was working fine then all of a sudden it froze so we powered it down by holding the power button....then we turned it back on....selected to start normally instead of safe mode.....then it just goes to a black screen and nothing happens. so we tried booting in safe mode and it does the same thing
whats going on can someone help me the computer is like less then 6 months old

Then it should be under warranty...

Make sure the disk are all removed form it. Charge it up, and try again. How many times have you tried starting it? Where does it stop in the sequence?

after i hit "start normally" then it just does nothing after that and it stays black screen

do you at least get the windows splash screen? if so, the os may have problems. if it doesnt get that far, you are looking at no post and should reseat all your hardware. I know you probably dont want to call tech support cause you'll get an indian tech...yippie~
