I can't figure out what the problem is. Last night I turned it off with no problems. This morning, I turn it on and it stays on for about 2 seconds then turns on. I basically rewired everything and tried again. Now it turns on and stays on, but it ain't working right. Usually the video card fan will go up to 100% then go down after a few seconds when I turn it on. It doesn't do that now. It stays at 100% and nothing comes up on the screen. I've tried the power supply with another computer and it works fine. I've tried another video card in my computer and it does the same thing. I've rewired the thing 2 or 3 times, and it still does the same thing.
Here's my full specs.
Original Computer
Stuff I've done to it. The only stuff that is from the original computer is the cpu, motherboard, the original 256mb piece of Ram, and the hard drive. The original hard drive is just used to store stuff.
Apevia X-Discovery Case
Epower 500W power supply
1 GB Rosewell Ram
Radeon X1800XT 256mb
Western Digital 160GB Hard Drive
Sound Blaster Audigy 4 Sound Card
Artic Freezer Pro CPU fan
Zalman fan controller
This is just a guess, but I'm guessing it's either the HD or the memory. I'm hoping it isn't the cpu or the motherboard.
Please help...I gotta get this fixed
