Concerning case fans and Heatsink fans

If I connect them directly into the power supply will they run a max RPM? I Do not have a fan controller and i wanna have my fans running a max for overclocking. I dont mind the noise. What do you guys suggest?

Yeah, it will. If you plug them into your motherboard, it will be at a minimal RPM but you can always download SpeedFan which allows you to adjust the RPM's on your fans.

You can run the case fans off of the PSU with no problem.. CPU fan may need to be connected to the MB header since a lot of MBs use the fan sensor in the thermal protection circuit.

YMMV

The CPU Heatsink needs to be connected. Its not a choice unless you know your bios and you can manually turn it off there. Its not recommended you do that though because you could break your system.

Yeah, I would never run it direct off a fan controller or PSU in case the fan fails, then your cpu will fudge up pretty damn quick!
At least when it's in the mainboard it will alert when the fan drops below a certain RPM that you've specified.
all the other fans are pretty okay to run off though a controller, or direct to the psu.
