Confused about PCIe

No there not the same, if you look you will see that some of the lower-end chipsets have one PCI-E x16, but the other runs at x8 speeds, which lower the number of lanes. And further more, motherboards that don't support SLI have even few lanes and links.
 
What is this #Links mean ?

What do you mean what does it mean? All those motherboard chipsets support at least 1 x16 PCI-E card if thats what your asking...... :confused:

Course you could always get the board that supports 4 x16 cards lol. QUAD SLI FTW!

In the section of PCI express of nForce 5 series that I took example, there is data about the number of #Lanes and number of #Links of the PCIe from every variant of nForce5. (look here)

What I don't understand is, "What is #Lane" and "What is #Links".
 
#Lanes is how many PCIe lanes it has, #Links is how many, well, links there are. For example take the nforce 550. It has 20 lanes and 5 links, a 16x link, and 4 1x links. The nforce 520 is essentially the same chipset so it also has 20 lanes but only 4 links (16x, 1x, 1x, 1x)

But shouldn't the nforce 520 has 19 lanes from 16+1+1+1=19 ? (not 20)
