I recently got another Hard Drive(30GB) and reformated my computer, so I could use it as mt Primary, insteady of The 80GB Hard Drive. To make a long story short, I unpartitioned bothe Hard Drives and #0GB as My Primary and my 80GB as my secondary. The only problem is, it does not detect my 80GB Hard Drive in My Computer, but only in The Devive Manager.
How do I get my 80GB Hard Drive to work.
Thanks:abra :)

Did you remember to move the drive jumper from master to slave on the 80gb? If your drives jumpers are set not properly that can cause this type of problem. In the Control Panel look for the Adminstrative Tools icon and double click on it to open the next screen. Then look for the Computer Management icon and do the same there.

Under the storage section on the left side look for the Disk Management. Once you open that both drives should be seen to the right. You simply right click on the 80gb to see the menu options like partitioning and formating a new primary there.

If the master/slave settings don't you try two different settings as you seem to know there with either the second drive alone set to cable select or both drives set that way. If you haven't partitioned and formatted the 80gb you will still have to do this in order for the drive designation to take place and become visible as a drive in MyComputer.

Until then an unpartitioned drive will remain invisible. If you want an extra tool besides the Disk Management for creating one or more partitions GPart 0.1h works great. But you still would have to have the Disk Management or installer format the new one or more created on it. You can get that Linux Gnome Partition Editor free at http://tucows.com/preview/8292

Thanks alot PC eye, you where a great help, I can't thank you enough. Works great now, it shows on in on My Computer, and says healthy now.
Thanks again: abra:) :) :)
