confusion from Mobo 101

Is this what you mean?

I reviewed the mobo in questioned... it states: "Pentium dual-core processors with 1600/1333/1066/800 MHz FSB" which means you can insert a dual-core processor that runs from 800 to 1600 FSB speeds.

So, what are asking in general...????

Thats because 533MHz, 800MHz, 1066MHz, 1333MHz, etc, aren't the FSB speeds. They are the rated bus speed.

For a CPU with a 800MHz bus, the FSB would be 200MHz (200x4=800), the FSB for a CPU with a 1066MHz bus speed would be 266.5MHz (266.5x4=1066), and so on.
