connect 2 x eSATA portable hard drives on my PC?

Since your motherboard doesn't have any eSATA connection, you'll have to have some sort of adapter.

You could get something like this, which just utilizes your internal SATA connections:

Or something like this, which adds eSATA ports via your PCI slot:

Or something like this that changes USB to eSATA. This would give you the worst performance as you're going to be limited by USB speeds.

@ PohTayToez: are you saying that my motherboard doesn't have an eSATA connection but my case does. So the eSATA on the case doesn't actually work?

Update: The two hard drives actually require a powered eSATA port. What would be the best solution now?

What are the hard drives? I imagine they don't have an external power source? If not then you'll have to get an eSATA card instead.
