connect mac from remote windows 7?

hello i have mac os x 10.7 in my office and windows 7 in my home i want to connect these two so that i can do remote assistance from home. i am looking for way so that i can take over the mac machine from windows 7 machine for example vnc or team viewer.

Team Viewer is a great option for this, so is LogMeIn. As long as the machine is switched on - you can connect to it without a hitch. Using LogMeIn, its also possible to remotely power on the computer, although i've never had much luck doing this.

If you will be leaving the remote machine switched on; make sure you adjust the power settings so the machine doesn't 'sleep'
