Connected to network, but can't connecto to Internet

So I don't know if anyone can help me on here, but I'm giving it a try....So I'm connected to my wireless network, but I can't connect to the Internet. I've checked my Internet connect settings and everything seems to be fine there. A couple of days ago, my wireless connection wasn't working, I just couldn't get any available networks. Then suddenly I was connected again, but then when I try and open the browser it says page cannot be displayed....does anyone have any ideas about this?....

Hmmm

Have you double-checked your IP settings? Make sure that you are using the right IP of the gateway in particular. It could be that your wireless router could have lost its settings. Check for that as well. Otherwise, I would have a look at the strength of the wireless (supposing WIFI) signal. You can use network stumbler : http://www.netstumbler.com/downloads/ . Good luck.

couple things...
1. computer may be trying to work offline, and u need to get it to connect. do this by opening ie and clicking on connect on the popup.
2. it has identified the signal, but you have to manually allow the computer to connect to the network by right clicking the connection icon in the bottom right hand corner and selecting "view available networks" and then click "allow my computer to connect to this network", then give it a minute. good luck
