Connected to the network but no internet

Hi the problem is when i connect the ethernet cable to the back of the machine the machine picks it up and says 100mb,ok but when you go on say internet explora is says working offline.just woundering if anyone can help me get on the internet.

have you tried going to File > and unticking working offline?

It could be various things that are stopping you connecting e.g. Firewalls or a synchronising or authentication issue. Checking the sync light on your router or on the ethernet port? Solid light = no problem there or if its flashing or off that could be the problem.
