Connecting Multiple Devices to single Monitor

I want to know if you can connect a computer and an xbox 360 to the same monitor, using VGA connection for the Xbox and DVI for the Computer? Much like how most Tv's work these days. Using my monitors settings i think i can switch between them, so i can play xbox but if i need to do something on my computer i can switch to the DVI connection in the settings and use the PC.

Thanks.

Yep, that is completely possible. You will have to see whether you can get an adaptor to plug your xbox into your PC via the VGA port though.

You should be able to get a RGB to VGA connector or something :)

Yep. I did this this summer. I used this to connect to the monitor and then I just used an av to 3.5mm jack converter in order to get the sound from the Xbox.

Thanks for the response, i have already bought the VGA connector for my Xbox, i just need speakers because i have no sound yet. I normally just use my headset for sound.

I was also wondering the same thing, I just bought Logitech Speakers, and am looking to connect it and my Xbox to a monitor I just inherited.

The speakers are the Logitech Z506's

the connections I have on it are seen

^^ there

The monitor has a DVI, D-Sub, audio in and HDMI inputs

I have an old Xbox Pro, without an HDMI port...how would I be able to do this?

Also, the monitor will go on a table I have and the main unit of the speakers (shown in the video) will be like 2 feet underneath it.
