Just installed a multi-purpose Bluetooth USB dongle onto my Acer 751 netbook... Have succesfully connected to mobile GPRS - through the b/t dongle - to my Sony Ericsson K750i mobile phone, at 115.2kbps.

Can't get Firefox to connect to any websites though - do I have to alter any Firewall options... or any connectivity options in Firefox menu bar/Tools/Options/Advanced/Network tab, or whatever.

This is so frustrating - so near, yet so far lol.

Any help is gratefully received...

It's decided to start working!!! Bloomin' slow though (you don't say).

At least, when I'm out and about and can't find a free WiFi spot, I can use use this method for free internet (got a free O2 unlimited GPRS web bolt-on on my mobile...)

....Oh, saying that, the netbook's just crashed! Ho hum...

Bloomin' thing connects okay... but as soon as you start surfing, after a minute or so, I get the blue screen of death. Bugger - nothing's ever straightforward is it?!
