connecting two routers wirelessly

I have a Buffalo WHR HP G54 router and it's upstairs, connected to the modem.
I don't have a working wireless adapter for my computer downstairs, but I have an extra router (Linksys WRT54G), and I am wondering if I can somehow connect these two routers together wirelessly, and then connect the linksys router to my computer downstairs. Is this possible?

Sadly, It will not work. If you wanted to extend the range you would have to set up an access point.

It WILL work with those routers. Just load DD-WRT on them. I've never done it personally, but I know there are guides about how to do it.

BTW, great choice with the WHR ;) I have one myself and love it!

Thanks. I already have DD-WRT v23 SP2 on the Buffalo. It really is a great router. I never got disconnected from it.

Thank you, hermeslyre. I used the guide on your first link and it worked the first time

But now for some reason I am unable to stream music from my computer to my 360 (through the router). It won't detect either computer.
