Connecting vga monitor to gtx 970

I have an old 1080p BenQ GL2240 monitor with vga socket and i bought a pc with gtx970 gpu which does not have vga. The monitor has served me well and still is in great shape and i wasn't intending to upgrade it.Is it possible to connect this monitor to my new pc?

You'll need one of two things, depending on the connections of your GTX 970. If you have a DVI port, you can use this. If you want to go from HDMI to VGA you can use this instead. Those will work just fine.
