I am trying to set up an internet connection from my computer to the Xbox 360 so I can play Xbox live. The only problem is my PC has a wireless connection and I tried running an Ethernet cable from my PC to the Xbox but it did not pick up any connection. I was wondering if there is a way I can do this without running a cable from the modem to the Xbox, and if so could you please tell me.

you need to go from your router / modem and go straight in the XBOX.

It will not work from your PC to XBOX.... it doesn't work that way.

dude seriously why post when you dont know.

run the ethernet from the xbox to your pc the go into connection manager and bridge your ethernet connection and wireless together than when its brindge right click, properties and select "ics" internet connection sharing.

:D sorry for not going into detail but theres many guides if you search google.

OK i'm sorry - but that is how you do it... a friend does his like this.

A friend goes from his 360 straight to router and other PCs are accessable via the network.
