connection problem

Check Device Manager and be sure it detects your tablet.

If it does but there is an exclamation point next to it, then you need a driver for it.

If you still don't see anything, then maybe you need to put your tablet into USB connection mode.
 
When you plug the tablet into the computer, do you get any notification on the tablet that its connected by usb? When I connect my samsung tablet, I get a notification saying its connected as a media device. If you press it, you can change it to media device or camera. If the computer doesn't make a usb sound detecting the tablet then something is wrong with usb port or tablet. Try a different port like one of the rear ones. Were you using the case usb ports?
