connection stress:(

i have a cable modem and every time i connect it directly to my computer it works perfectly and stays connected endlessly. But when i connect it to my D-link wireless router, it keeps getting knocked off. IT keeps getting disconnected.

i'm tired of being disconnected from the internet in the middle of surfing or downloads when connected to my router.

what do i do about this?

Sounds to me like the router is resetting every so often. What model is it?

the model is DI-624

Try what it says on the link I am providing. Seemed to work for him and he had the same problem you do.

There seem to be a lot of problems with that router, if you just got it, I would take it back and get your money.

lol..i would say linksys provides very good customer service..

i rmb last time calling them for help and the next day..a guy from linksys call me and ask if my router is working already

you dont get that kind of service in this industry every day...!
