I'm running Vista Ultimate on my desktop. On my laptop, I'm running XP. While usuing my laptop, I have NO trouble using Yahoo messnger, Limewire, Internet explorer, etc. But, on my desktop, Yahoo messenger will not sign in (even though every other Yahoo service works). Internet explorer will not work (says it can't display the webpage) I run the diagnostic on explorer and it says there are no connectivity problems. Limewire will boot up, but the connection strength never gets past the first bar?? I've checked my firewall settings to allow these programs and even set all the settings identical to my laptop and still nothing. It's just really odd that everything works fine on my laptop, but not my desktop. Does anyone have any ideas of what may be causing this problem?? Thanks!!!
