Conputer freezing up after startup

I recently built my friend a computer, and it was working fine until about 3 hours ago. After turning it on, and logging in, about 10 secobds later it would freeze. Ctrl alt del did nothing. He says he didn't change anything. Temps are fine, in the low 40s C. Bios settings are stock I believe.

Does anyone kbow what this could be?
 
Test the RAM with Memtest86+ and the hard drive with the manufacturers diagnostic utility.
