Geoff VIP Member Nov 9, 2006 #5 As others have said, the Merom is used in mobile devices, while Conroe is used in desktop. Performance wise, there pretty similar, however the Merom has a 667Mhz bus, where the Conroe has a 1066Mhz bus.
