-more friends to play with (to most people, not all)
-no need to worry about system requirements
-no compatibility issues
-they still have great graphics (uncharted 3, killzone 3, etc.)
-cheaper (unless you somehow find a great gaming pc for $250)
-smaller
-easier to use
-no need to upgrade hardware
-play on a bigger screen (not everyone, but alot of people play on a screen bigger than 24in)
-last longer (an xbox 360 from 2005 can play BF3 -an un-upgraded pc from 2005 can not)

Untrue. I have just as many friends that I play games with on my computer as my roommate's xbox

Yes, but PC has better.

That will match xbox's graphics for under $250? Easy.

This is about the only argument you have that is valid.

Keyboard and mouse are much better to use than a controller.

Neither do PC users if they want the same graphics as an xbox.

Most computers have an HDMI out, so yes, I can play on a TV as well.

Once again, if I want to meet the same graphics standard as an xbox, yes, a PC from 2005 can play BF3.

Sure, and a 2500K just happens to be 10x more efficient than the processor in the PS3. The only edge that PS3 has is the onboard graphics is better, but a GTS250 can easily fix that for under $100. Probably a GT540 would beat it.
 
Console gaming is great, but PC gaming is the very best. You have access to mod's, free games/trials and plenty of other things.

And you can build a computer for about 300-400 that WILL play at XBOX360/PS3 Graphics.

You have to realize,The reason a 360/PS3 is still capable of running BF3 is because Dice developed different versions separately,The Console versions are different from the pc version...dumbed down graphics,slightly smaller maps..less players (i think max 24 for console,64 for pc.)
