-they still have great graphics (uncharted 3, killzone 3, etc.)
-cheaper (unless you somehow find a great gaming pc for $250)

-play on a bigger screen (not everyone, but alot of people play on a screen bigger than 24in)
-last longer (an xbox 360 from 2005 can play BF3 -an un-upgraded pc from 2005 can not)
