Content Creator Build?

I've thrown together a couple parts lists for a build that I'd like land around $800-$1100 and will mainly be used for Adobe photoshop, premier, illustrator, Handbrake, and perhaps light gaming, though that isn't a necessity. Also obvious small stuff like Word, web browsing, skype, live streaming on youtube, etc.

Mainly I need suggestions and "best bang for my buck" for the above uses. I know very little about motherboards, so those may be poor choices. Any obvious bottlenecks? Also, I didn't think about aesthetics at all, so if there's anything obviously hideous going on here, you can mention it.

Cheaper is always better for me, but I'll pay more for best bang for my buck. Which would you go with? Major bottlenecks? Any better components to replace my choices? Changes? Thanks!

What kind of content do you create? 1 TB would be filled pretty fast by video editing and similar.

I'd roll with the second one really, you'll get noticeably faster render times (25+%).

If there's anything you wanted to benchmark I could run that on the 2700X so you have an idea.

Beers, thanks so much! Yeah, I was definitely leaning toward the second build. I currently have a 1 TB HDD that I'm going to add to the build as well, but I may go for a 2 TB HDD as you suggested. I usually delete the original video once I've edited it all together. It's nothing fancy, just 1080p videos for my YouTube channel, photos for my horror shop, stuff like that.

I've been keeping an eye on benchmarks as they've been coming out, but don't really have anything special in mind beyond what I've mentioned (adobe suite, compression tools like Handbrake). I appreciate the offer!

So the second build doesn't have any obvious flaws/bottlenecks/unreliable company hardware/etc?

Just my personal opinion, but I prefer to avoid asrock boards as I have found their software/drivers and hardware more temperamental and less reliable than their competitors, I personally prefer to go with Asus or Gigabyte.

I have an overclocked 8700k @ 5ghz, we could compare it to the 2700X.

Shlouski,
Thank you, that was just the type of opinions I was looking for. I originally had the Gigabyte X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING ($139.99) slotted in there, but the Asrock was around the same price and came with WIFI on board, so I switched. But frankly, I don't *need* wifi on the rig anyway, so if Gigabyte is the better board here, I'll switch back to that.
