Continous reboot WIN XP

My PC XP family edition boots as usual, after a moment a black screen appears, and then a message with a yellow triangle "no signal", after some seconds, the system reboots again and so on hours on end
I tried all other boot methods via F5 and F8 (latest good configuration, etc...), but nothing works.
I have connected to my PC a printer Epson, a Proview screen aand a Trust webcam.
Everything worked perfect till today morning?
I am a bit lost.

Is this message produced by the monitor? Sounds like there is a video problem. If your video is onboard it could be a system board problem.

It's not a new computer.
Specs are :
Win XP home edition
pentium 512K ram
monitor flatscreen Proview
Indeed, every time I log off in the evening, I see this message on the screen (quiet normal, as the screen don't receive input from the computer)
But what I don't understand, it's why the system is rebooting hours on end.

I don't think this is a problem of video as I can see on the screen the first steps of the launch of Windows. It's just before the launch of the desktop background that something occurs and triggers a new reboot.

if you feel comfortable going inside your case, try looking in there and seeing if there's a lot of dust.
i had a similar issue awhile ago and it turned out that the power supply was dusty as could be to where the air had nowhere to go

it's worth taking a look

other then that, try doing a repair on windows.

also, i have heard of some systems doing almost the same thing when there have been bad (leaking, bulging etc.) capacitors on the motherboard.

Unplug your Epson printer and your Trust webcam then
try to boot into regular mode first. If that doesn't work
then try Safe mode.

If your able to go into windows then plug the printer back
in and see if it works. If it doesn't you have found your
problem. Do the same thing for the webcam.

If you can't get into windows without everything unplugged
then you will probably need to reinstall the windows xp.

Hello,

Thanks for the advices. I did everything but it didn't solve the issue.
Finally I decided to boot from a liveCD linux to save my files before reinstalling windows.

Thx
