Controlling ps3 via laptop

Hi guys, I'd like to use my laptop to control my Playstation 3.

I'm installing now Linux, so I just need some software to make my Ps3 telnet server or something.

I hope it's possible, if not on Linux I'll(is there anything impossible on Linux btw?) then maybe XP(not sure if can install on ps3).

If this thread was already posted(what I don't believe in, unless ofc the search system fails) - I'm really sorry.

how are you even installing Linux on your PS3? They took out that function some time ago!

Eitherway, XP won't run on a PS3 but Linux will if you have the right software version!

As to telnet, why not just try installing VNC on the Linux and see if you can remote into it?
