greetings all,

...i have a relative with a question and i couldn't quite answer him.

....he has his own mpgs or avi's and wants to convert them to to play on a dvd home player..... he has nero but i am unsure of the version......can someone post a "step by step" on this with whatever programs are needed?

...last question; if he can accomplish this will the dvd (after conversion) clips play as individual "chapters as one would normally see on a dvd movie?

........thanks again for your assistance!

Follow the directions in Nero, it very easily explains this stuff. But basically the answer is yes.

......thanks for the reply!..DAMN, that was fast!....i think he tried nero and ran into problems.....is there a "minimum" version number he has to have to accomplish this sir?

Hmm....i don't know. I have only ever used Nero 6 and 7, and both versions (the full versions, not the OEM stuff that comes with CD drives, etc.) totally walk you through the process for creating a DVD, complete with chapters, special effects, and everything.

The program is called NeroVision, you may be able to download it by itself

edit: Here's the link for Nero Vision 4, the latest version that comes with Nero Suite 7.
