How do I convert from DVD to AVI and then back to DVD?

any particular reason youwant to go to avi from dvd, then back to dvd. i can see a shortcut, and it saves a hell of a lot of time

Just from DVD to AVI.

use this to convert to avi, then you'll need something like dvd santa to convert back to dvd
