friend of mine is needing a replacement power supply and doesn't have any money to work with right now
i have a power supply to give her, but it does not have any sata power connectors
her hard drive is the only thing that requires a sata power plug

i have a power supply that has sata connectors, but the fan on it does not work

is there a way to take off one of the ide drive plugs and connect a sata plug?
or some other way that i could get her system up and running again with her having no money?

thanks...i had found some online too, just no credit card or anything to order with
we live in a rinky-dink area where it's about 30-50 miles to a store that carries normal comp part...lol...not even sure if they have those

from the pics i saw, it look like there shouldn't be any difference in voltage or anything to where i could just change them out myself
but i don't wanna risk burnin her HDD either
