There must be FREE video file converting software out there but I can't find any. I keep getting these "free trials".
I have software for making dvds but .mov files are not compatible (the software allows me to use .avi files but not .mov files).
It would be a very nice place in pc land if someone would develop a dvd create software that was compatible with everything out there. What are these guys thinking when they develop this stuff - you'd think they would want there format to be compatible with everything - they'd sell more. I know I'd be a lot happier.
The answer I guess is to buy a camera, video cam corder, TV, receiver, record player, and all the devices you can think of all at one time and make sure at that time that everything is "in-sync" and compatible. I don't really care if it gets outdated fast as long as it works for me and I'm happy.
My complaint is that I keep running into that "not compatible" warning more and more when I'm on my pc, tv and .............just about everything in electronics.......*&**$#@!!!!!!!!>.....................
