Cookies disappear

So I use the latest version of Firefox, everything was swell until I moved to a different city than before. Now every time I restart my PC all my cookies are erased. I can close out the browser and reopen it just fine. Its not until my PC restarts that I have to log in to any websites that I chose to "remember me". This never happened before until I moved to another city. I made no changes before I left. How can I fix this?
 
A likely cause is the file that stores cookies may be corrupt. To test this close Firefox, go to your profile folder and rename cookies.sqlite to cookies.tmp
Restart Firefox, log into those sites and then see if it remembers the logins.

For other possible causes, first try clearing the cookies for the site, there may be a malformed cookie causing the problem. In the Firefox menus select Tools > Options > Privacy - In the Cookies section click "Show Cookies..." to access the option for removing cookies.

Also make sure that cookies are being accepted and not being deleted when Firefox closes. Go to Tools > Options > Privacy, on that dialog you can make sure that cookies are being accepted, then in the private data section make sure that Firefox is not set to delete cookies when Firefox closes. Also click on the Exceptions button in the cookies section to make sure cookies from those sites are not being blocked.

Next check any internet security software to make sure it is not blocking or deleting cookies. Some internet security software has privacy options that can block or delete cookies.

I was thinking primarily about clearing your private data [Cookies, History, Temp internet files, etc.] and starting over seeing if it would store. If that does not work, try the first method listed, if that does not work, try the third method. If nothing else works, reply again and we can start going in a bit deeper
 
So far none of these suggestions work. I have no problem keeping cookies as long as my PC stays on all day. Its not until I reboot that everything deletes. I recently downloaded the latest version of IE and its doing the same thing as Firefox. It erases all my cookies at each reboot/shutdown of my PC.
 
Some installed protection/cleaning programs can cause this to happen when you restart your computer. Do you use CCCleaner or something alike?
