Hey,

I'm just wondering what you guys would like to see my coolant color to be. It's for the Raidmax Aztec build that I'll post a picture of down below. I'm between a pump/res/rad combo, buying used pump, rad, and getting a T-line, or buying used pump, res, and rad... but that's not what this thread is about. This is about the color of the coolant that will be running through the tubes. It will be flowing over this block...

So colors like, say, yellow, wouldn't look very good on this... in my opinion. I'm completely neutral on color, I'd even go brown if you guys voted for it. The loop won't be made for quite a while, but when it's done, I'll get some pics. Here's the case it will go in... BTW, the Xigmatek Dark Knight in this pic will be for sale after the loop is built.

Ugh... bad pic, I know.

Colors not possible with dyes will be coolant... if I can, I'll get UV reactive. I'm NOT getting that clear stuff that glows blue with UV.

I voted acid green, I always use bright UV green coolant, looks great with my blue LED and cold cathodes.

Necroing thread because I'm at an impass...
I'm wondering if I should
A) Get this for the cooling loop if I go ahead and do watercooling: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/1...Universal_CPU_Water_Cooling_Kit_Hot_Item.html
B) Get an NZXT Vulcan and Thermalright Silver Arrow instead

I'm asking this because now it seems like watercooling an AMD rig is a little useless... you can get some high clocks, but you don't get the real boost you see with the intel chips. Plus I think that heatsink would look like a beast in that case.

I think I'm going to do the air cooling one... liquid cooling seems like way too much trouble for an AMD rig.

I say orange for color contrast. If it was me, I'd go with air cooling on my stuff cause I don't like the chance for a large mess and damaged components because of a leak.

But some of my buddies like water cooling, it does a good job and it looks sweet.... and its always cool to tell your friends that you got water cooling, ha!

If you wanna see the orange try this link.

Eh... I'm not going to use pre-mixed coolant. I'll get some dye from Mayhem's and save me the clogged blocks.
