Coolbits, Rivatuner, NvTweak???

I am interested in overclocking my MX400 32MB AGP... and I researched and found Guru3d (anyone heard of them before?)... And found some helpful softwares:

Coolbits (has anyone used it? does it work well???)
Rivatuner (why does the database builder take soooo long???)
NvTweak (?)

Does any of those that I downloaded from Guru3d have spyware? Are they trusted? Has anyone used any of them b4? thanks! :cool:

You mean the software or the video card? (Amazingly the Geforce2 can play NFS underground 2 at low settings 1024x768 and no lags, as well as HALO : Combat Evolved with no lags)
 
I am at thje low system tweaks right now, going to raise core clock and memory clock.. this gefroce dont have a fan... is that going to be a problem?
 
ssorry for 3x posting forgot this question:

has anyone of yall used rivatuner b4? it looks trustworthy.... but im not sure... I have a hard time trusting downloaded software... Even spybot or pc wizard from their own website...
 
Sorry I didn't mean that to sound mean just being facetious!! My Co. used to use Rivatuner but our IT pro wrote us a new program and we don't share it,sorry for that also
 
Naw I think your comment was funnny =)

=( : I guess its overheating or something. It loads OK, but when goign to desktop it will freeze, well not totally, but will load the start menu in 30 secs ect ect... guess I OC'd it too much. Cant even load Rivatuner and set it back to dfault =(
 
i think it's funny ur OC'ing a 32mb vid card....not making fun of u...it's just funny to do now with much better vid cards out that ppl OC as well...

also for overheating....water cool lol taht would be jokes too
 
Yup... ive reformatted it and reinstalled OS... now it works but I think its a bit slower in NFSU2D and Halo... will small 40mm fan help???

PS: Is magic jelly bean software a spyware ? Avast says so... and I found a blank CD, opened it, opened the folder... does that mean the trojan has been transfered to my compy?
 
Because the key finder goes into your registry avast! gets all jumpy about it throws up an issue which doesn't affect any other anti-virus software I've tried conversely.
 
When doing the HDD benchmark Avast also tells me that its a virus.. everytime, even on my other computers.

I only oopened the folder which magic jelly bean software was at, i didnt open the software (even though the software does work)
