Water cooling is most affective for overclocking unless you go into extremes. But its costs alot more than a normal heat sink.
I would look into summin like the Zalman CNPS9500-LED Aero Flower .

With both, take into account the fact that they are quite large and heavy which can cause problems in certain cases.

yes the thermalright xp whatever heatsink is very nice. may i suggest a temperature controlled fan? i use one myself, and i barely ever even hear the thing... along with an extra low RPM fan on the other side of my heatsink.
EDIT: personally, id prefer zalman. it comes with a fan on it already, and looks really cool too.

I am more interested in cooling performance which the Thermaltake is better at when a good 120mm fan is added. I prefer it more as it allows for changing the fan as well as allowing you to chose the fan that you like. You can easily get an LED fan if you are after looks.
