My question is, what are cooling paste?
How do I use it so that my CPU can be cooler?
And how much does it help?
How often do we apply?
And does it damage anything?
Thanks!

Cooling paste or also known as Thermal Paste is a thin layer of silver paste that are usually in between your processor and heatsink. It helps in bringing the temperature of the processor down. Every computer have to have this applied before it can be safely turned on.

Once you applied the thermal paste you would not need to change it for quite a long time. Here is the link on how to apply the thermal paste:

The most popular thermal paste that many people use is called Arctic Silver 5 or AS5 for short. It will not damage your computer. In fact, it will make it live longer if you may since it protect it from overheating quickly.

Hope this helps. :)

'Cooling paste' is applied to your processor/ heat sink. It is there to conduct heat affectively so your system doesnt over heat and die. There are different types of paste, most poeple would say arctic silver 5 is the best to use. You have to have thermal paste applied or your hardware will over heat and damage itself. You shouldn't have to apply it often at all. But i would probably re apply it every so often (say 10 months or a year )
