cooling question

I am new to this as this is my first build,
i have a p7p55d pro mobo. I bought a thermaltake frio cpu cooler. Its fan connectors are 3 pin. The mobo has 2 four pin connections. One is lable cpu fan and the other is labled cha_fan1. It has 2 three pin connections. One labled pwr fan and the other is labled cha_fan2. Is there an adaptor that will allow me to use the 4 pin connections with my 3 pin wires that came with the cpu cooler or should i use the 3 pin connections?

Help plz?

The 3 pin connector should be able to fit on the 4 pin connection on the motherboard.

I had that same problem too....Finally figured it out....

Is there a prefered way to hook up the case fans...To the MOBO or just to the PSU....
