Cooling Questions

So I have a few questions on cooling.

1. Do I really need that fan on the chipset? My PC runs SO much quieter without it.Theres a small heatsink also on it. I can even sometimes here it when i'm playing games.I'm not overclocking, and I know it's there for a purpose, but its just so dang LOUD!!

2. If I do need that fan on, then would this heatsink be sufficient?

I need it to move away because my GPU runs across it. Not touching it though.

3. What would be the most accurate program to moniter my temps?Speed fan says my cores are 20 degrees off eachother and another temp's -53 degrees, while others say they are 10 - 15 off.

4. Would it be worth it to put a fan grill on the front fan and maybe back to so i can get better airflow. Right now there's a piece of aluminium with small circles on it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

of all the chips in your comp, the NB can take the most amount of heat. you should be fine with the stock heat sink, and you're not OC'ing so it won't matter.

Monitoring programs:

Everest
Speedfan

Are you sure that speed fan is accurate? It says certain things that are unbelievable. Everest on the other hand looks pretty good.

Its only a small heatsink, but if you say so.

Thanks guys you just saved me 50$:)
