First of all i'm getting two of these .....BEnQ I was just wondering if this is a good burner and is it possible if i have two of them will i be able to burn 2 dvds at once?

It's possible that you can, but you may get errors if your burning with both drives on the same IDE cable.

I have been running Sony equipment here along with plextors at times. But I usually see the best with the Sonys for both dvd and vcd projects. As far as trying to multiple burn dvds at the same time with one program that's out of the question there. When burning a disk the drive letter for the available burner is chosen where that one single drive then writes the disk accordingly. With two drives you could go back and forth for each new project. You can also set the number of copies to burn when creating a new project to burn on one drive by assigning that drive's letter. That may require saving the new project first.

Not only would you need a hefty supply but two different burning softwares going at the same time. That's going to draw on cpu request time along with loading the memory up fast. What type of dvd are you planning this for would be one question. With data dvds you might just get it to work. But with video disks the video files first have to be processed in order to separate audio as well as video portions.
