Copy some CD for back up

Compequip

Hey guys I have a couple of new music CD's I purchase and want to make a back up copy for my truck. I don't want to scratch the original and would like to have a copy. I tried using window media, and it burned a copy but will only play in the computer. Is there any free d/l software I can get. Again, this is all legit, I own the CD and it's for my personnal use. I bought my last CD from amazon it was Mumford and Son's woot woot. Excellent BTW.....

What kind of media did you use? Also, do you have a new or old cd player in your truck.

I have an Alpine IVA-W505 http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/iva-w505/ in my truck and a factory radio in my 2007 Infiniti G35. Other than that I have a little $40 boombox thing for the back yard. As for media, I dunno cd media??? I (my family) has an Ipod and I know we have Ituned, but I don't know how to log on or in and I have know idea how to work it. I haven't really tried. I know I had loads of music on my old cpu, but never transfered to the new computer. I have a box of probably 200-300 old cd's. I know some of our music when we put in the disk drive on our cpu that stupid ipod music thing pops up and want to convert it. Maybe I should start looking into using the ipod??? What do you guys think? Thanks for all the help....

Yes, when I asked what kind of media did you use I'm asking what brand and what type of cd did you use. cd+r, cd-r, cd-rw?
