Copy to floppy in RC

Is it possible to copy files in Recovery Console?
And I mean after you don't have access to Windows and can not set the proper security option.
Also can you copy whole folders or just single files?

Thanks for answers.
The most important part of my question is: can you copy files to floppy? (without setting the "Allow floppy copy and access to all drives and folders" security option-this security default is=disabled).
Microsoft technet - hence my question.

The manual method to copy files from drive to drive at the recovery console is a bit awkward at times. It may be easier to simply create an XP boot floppy and leave the tab unlocked to copy files from the drive there. You can also use a live Linux distro like Knoppix or ubuntu where drives appear as desktop shortcuts to copy files much easier that way.

Thanks PC eye.
Yes, I know about all the live Linux distros. I also have something called Winternals ERD Commander (looks like that). It is a great soft. You can even change windows passwords if you need to.
I was just curious about copying to floppy.
I'll have to give it a try some time (with different sec. settings).
Thanks again.

When trying to move around and copy files there it can be like mission impossible at times over the old dos there unfortunately. You can far more easily expand files for replacement off of the XP disk for repair then change directories and view files. If you know the exact location along with the file names you have to type in specific commands like "C:\folder\my file A:\" to give you a quick idea on that. You can move in Linux easier as well as in dos!
