Copying hard drive to another computer

I would like to copy everything from one hard drive to another computer. I need fairly detailed directions as I am not very techy. I am running xp pro, and would like to export all data, files, etc. via usb cord to another computer which is also running xp pro. The drive I am copying is an old 10gb of my son's, and I think it is going bad, as it grinds pretty loud and pretty often...thanks for the help...

Go out and buy a 16gig USB drive or an external, best and easiest way for someone thats not very "techy".

Other then that you could share the drive out and transfer files over your home network.

Both of these methods should work.
One involves buying something the other is pretty much free. Your choice :)
