Hey, I'm trying to compare a few CPU's. My computer says the CPU in it is a Core 2 6600 @2.40GHz. However, I can't find this exact processor on the benchmark site I'm using (https://www.cpubenchmark.net/). However, I have found a Core 2 Duo E6600 @2.40GHz on the site. Are these the same thing? If they aren't, does anyone know a benchmark site that has this exact processor?

I ran CPU-Z and it turns out that it was, in fact, the E6600. Thanks. Just out of curiosity, why wouldn't the control panel show it was the E6600? In the other computers I checked, they all said "T2500", "T7700", "T8300".

The T series processors are for laptops only. There is also a P series processor for laptops.

Yeah, I was just curious why the laptops specified that they were part of the T series, but the desktop didn't specify that it was part of the E series.
