Core 2 Duo Mobo

I want to build a computer with core 2 duo processor. when i look on newegg.com i find combos with gigabyte but the one that seems to have no problems is hella expensive. so i want to know if anybody knows of any good proforming mid-range gaming mobos for the core 2 duo that isnt extreamly expensive. if i have to spend all that so be it but hopefully there are cheaper. thanks

I got a GA-965P-S3. It's exactly the same as the DS3 but it doesn't use all solid capacitors

I recommend the Gigabyte GA-965P-(D)S3 also. I have reached extremely high overclocks with this motherboard, and they are always updating the BIOS with better versions
