ok i have no idea about overclocking CPU's... But is it possible to do it on a laptop??

and is it worth overclocking a Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T5600 1.83GHz 2MB Cache 667MHz FSB.... or they blocked it??? or is there on need to do it to a core duo.

If it is bought through a company like Dell - you're probably not going to be able to overclock it.

Besides, the motherboard plays a big factor in how well it overclocks.

However, there are applications such as ClockGen which allow you to overclock from within Windows. This may work, but the overclock settings will be lost once you reboot...

IMO, its not a good idea to OC laptops. Not enough air circulation and hey... what are you going to do on a LAPTOP that you need an extra 20% more performance?
