I own an Emachine ET1831-05. It came stock with motherboard model MCP73VT-PM and Intel Celeron Processor 450 (2.20 GHz, 512 KB Cache, 800 MHz FSB). I upgraded the processor to a Core2 Duo E8400 about a week ago. It is noticeably much faster, but I want to get the most out of the E8400 as possible. I watched a few tutorials on the steps to perform the overclock, but I can't seem to find the location within my BIOS to make the necessary changes. Is it possible that my motherboard does not allow for overclocking? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

An OEM computer will not be able to overclock through the bios. You can only do that through retail motherboards.

The Core 2 Duo E8400 processor was released in the year 2008. It is still a somewhat decent processor without overclocking.
