core2duo overclock question

this will be the last question thread i make in a while regarding overclocking, i promise :)

i have an e4300 OCd to 2.62hz with a FSB of1150. compared to say, an e6700, (2.66ghz with a 1066 fsb),would my OCd e4300 have similar performance? the only difference between the two is the cache, the 6700 has 4mb and mine has 2. im guessing they would be around the same speed, but since i have never seen a benchmark comparing a cheap CPU oc'd to match the specs of a more expensive one, i really have no way of knowing. i would be beyond thrilled to find out the CPU i paid 79 dollars for is on par with a 320 dollar CPU :)

Guessing, I think it would be close. It'd be cool to benchmark 'em. :)

They would be close, giving that your overclock is stable. You have a higher FSB, however lower cache.
