Corporate Email Security???

A friend of mine got a new job and of course they gave him his own email account at their company website. You know, bob123@widgets dotcom. He thought he should use this for ALL his emails, personal etc. I told him not to do that since his employer will then be able to read his personal emails. The dimwit told me they couldn't because he created his own private password. I told him that anyone with administrater privilages could unlock or overide it and read and even manipulate his personal emails and he disagrees with me.

Anyone want to step in and give him the picture. He does not believe me, Thanks, jackz

Let him learn the hard way! Besides most companies take a dim view of you using their time for personal stuff. They pay you to do their stuff not your own on company time.
