Hello,
i'm going to buy the following computer:

AMD Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition Box
Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-US2H
Seagate ST31000333AS 3.5" 1000GB SATA2 32MB
Mushkin DDR2 4096MB (2048MBx2) 800Mhz CL 4-4-4-12 XP Gold
Antec Three Hundred
Corsair CMPSU-400CX 400W
Gigabyte ATI Radeon HD4770 512Mb DDR5

is Corasir's 400W PSU is enough for me?
How's Antec 300??

thank you.

Gal.

400W is probably OK but on the edge for that configuration. If it were mine I would probably use a more powerful PSU. One of my computers is fairly similar to yours in terms of power requirements - AMD9550. I have a 650W running in it. That is more than enough. I'm not suggesting that the 400 wouldn't do the job. I just think it would pay to have a little overhead. It would give you some room to upgrade to a more powerful video card in the future. I use 430W in my Core 2 Duo system and it is perfectly adequate in that machine.

i would go with a larger psu, the corsair 400 should support that system, but i doubt it would support many upgrades to the current system

Like others said, it'll power it, but barely. If you want some room for expansion you can get the next model up from Corsair, the 520 watt one.
